How do our windsurfing lessons run
Our aim is to get you up and windsurfing quickly, as water time is where you really experience Windsurfing, so we have a quickstart process for our lessons: Meet and greet at start time (we start on time, so please arrive early)
  1. Gather with all kit on the water’s edge.
  2. Quick safety briefing from the instructor.
  3. On water  / land demo. Each person engages in this process as doing is better than seeing.
  4. All onto the water.
This whole process should take no more than 30 minutes, giving us a windsurfing time of around an hour and a half.

  • Light food and drink for after the session.

  • Wetsuit if you have one.

Wing sup lessons get you started!
It is important to understand the fundamentals, of any windsport, so you can progress quickly, which is why we’ve developed our 2 programs.
  • 2.5 hour wind sup taster session is aimed at those who have some windsport experience, especially windsurfing or kiting.
  • 4 hour wind sup lesson is for those with no windsport experience, so we go into more detail about understanding wind and this environment.
All of our sessions run in flat water with winds from 8 knots upwards.
What kit do we use
We’ve tried many types of boards to give the best experience and landed on our windsurf boards that are stable and have great upwind capabilities. This means you can focus on the wing and new ideas, over trying to balance, which really improves the learning speed. We also use the BBTalkin intercoms to chat with you, as the wind can make it difficult to shout instructions once on the water. This is a headset attached to a helmet, so you have nothing more to do other  than listen and reply.
Where do we Wing SUP and Foil
Surfs SUP Watersports is based in Bracklesham, with our mobile facility working in Chichester Harbour, Poole, Pagham, East Wittering and Hayling Island. Many of our wing sup lessons are run in Chichester Harbour, which offers flat water and clean wind, affording us a safe environment.
Calendar booking online
